1. The Promoter
The promoter of this competition is Rotisse (the "Promoter"), a trademark of 22 Birds Limited.
2. The Competition
2.1. The competition is titled "Win a free chicken".
2.2. The competition is a prize draw where entrants must subscribe to the Promoter's newsletter, or complete a purchase within the qualifying period. A winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries.
2.3. Entry to the competition is free.
3. Eligibility
3.1. The competition is open to all residents of the Promoter service areas aged 18 years or over, except for employees of the Promoter, their immediate families, or anyone professionally connected with the administration of the competition.
3.2. Only one entry per person is permitted. Subsequent entries will be disqualified.
3.3. Entries must be submitted by subscribing to the official newsletter via the form provided on Rotisse's website.
4. Competition Period
4.1. The competition commences at 00:00 GMT on 21st January 2026 (the "Opening Date").
4.2. The competition closes at 23:59 GMT on 21st February 2026 (the "Closing Date").
4.3. All entries must be received by the Promoter before the Closing Date. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
5. How to Enter
5.1. To enter the competition, entrants must successfully subscribe to the Promoter's official newsletter between the Opening Date and the Closing Date.
5.2. An individual who is already subscribed to the newsletter before the Opening Date is not automatically entered. To enter, existing subscribers must resubscribe within the Competition Period.
5.3. By subscribing, the entrant confirms that they accept these Terms and Conditions.
6. The Prize
6.1. The prize is a whole rotisserie chicken.
6.2. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative is offered.
6.3. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.
7. Winner Selection and Notification
7.1. The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received using a verifiable random selection process.
7.2. The draw will take place by 25th December 2025]. 7.3. The winner will be notified by email (using the address provided for the newsletter subscription) before the end of December 2025.
7.4. The winner must respond to the notification email within 7 days of the date of the email, providing their full name and postal address for prize fulfilment.
7.5. If the winner fails to respond within the required time, they forfeit the prize and the Promoter reserves the right to select a new winner at random.
8. Data Protection and Publicity
8.1. By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided, including your email address, will be used by the Promoter for the sole purpose of administering the competition, including winner notification and prize fulfilment.
8.2. Your subscription to the newsletter is subject to our separate Privacy Policy and you may unsubscribe at any time.
8.3. The winner agrees that the Promoter may publish their name and county on its website or social media channels to announce the result of the competition.
9. General
9.1. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry which it reasonably believes breaches these Terms and Conditions.
9.2. The Promoter reserves the right to void, cancel, suspend, or amend the competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
9.3. The Promoter's decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9.4. This competition is governed by English law and entrants submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
